    Wire Procurement

    Ø1.60–3.00 mm galvanised steel wires are sourced from accredited suppliers to EN 10244 standard.

  2. 02

    Galvanising

    Wires are zinc-coated by electro-galvanising or hot-dip galvanising to provide corrosion resistance.

  3. 03

    Straightening & Cutting

    Galvanised wires are straightened on CNC lines to millimetre tolerances and cut to the required length.

  4. 04

    Spot Welding

    Horizontal and vertical wires are fusion-welded at every intersection on automated spot-welding lines; aperture spacing remains consistent.

  5. 05

    Quality Control & Coiling

    Every roll is tested for aperture tolerance, coating thickness, and weld-point strength; coiled to a standard 25 m length.

Galvanised spot-welded wire (welded wire mesh) is a rigid wire mesh system produced by joining galvanised steel wires at every right-angle intersection using resistance (spot) welding. Unlike chain-link fence, where wires interlock in a spiral pattern, every intersection in spot-welded wire is permanently fixed, giving the mesh superior dimensional stability and enhanced tensile resistance.

Chain-link is formed by interlocking wires in a spiral pattern; it is flexible and adapts easily to uneven terrain. Spot-welded wire has a rigid structure with every intersection permanently welded. This makes spot-welded wire dimensionally more stable — aperture spacing does not change under deformation — and it offers greater resistance to animal pressure. On flat, open terrain and in livestock or cage applications where a consistent aperture is required, spot-welded wire is the preferred choice.
Small apertures such as 25×50 mm for poultry, sheep, and small pets; 50×50 mm for medium-sized dogs and sheep; 50×100 mm for large-area agricultural land and industrial perimeters. For temporary construction site enclosure, 75×100 mm is an economical option.
Ø1.60–2.00 mm wire is adequate for light agricultural, poultry, and garden applications. Ø2.50 mm is a well-balanced choice for residential and medium-intensity commercial projects. Ø3.00 mm delivers maximum rigidity for large animal housing, industrial, and security-critical applications.
The standard roll length is 25 m, which suits most agricultural and residential projects. For large-area or long-run projects, multiple rolls are spliced end-to-end. Custom lengths can also be produced; share your requirements and our team will recommend the most efficient packaging plan.
The galvanised wire used in our products performs maintenance-free for 15–20 years in rural and normal outdoor conditions. In high-rainfall and humid environments, 10–15 years is expected. No maintenance is required; an annual visual inspection is sufficient.
Metal or timber posts are driven into the ground at 2000–2500 mm intervals. The roll is uncoiled, tensioned along the posts, and secured with wire ties or clamps. The light weight of a 25 m roll makes installation straightforward for two people; no specialist equipment is needed.
There is no minimum order for stock items — a single roll can be ordered. Custom aperture sizes, wire diameters, or non-standard lengths are subject to a minimum production quantity. For large project orders, share your area and specification for a same-day quotation.
