Spot Welding: Every Point Fixed

Every point where the wires cross at right angles is fixed by a spot weld, and the panel is then hot-dip galvanised. The aperture does not change under load; the rigid structure gives a stable line against animal pressure and external loads.

Production Process

Integrated production from raw material to quality control

  1. 01

    Steel Wire

    High-strength steel wires are straightened and cut to the panel size.

  2. 02

    Spot Welding

    Horizontal and vertical wires are crossed at right angles on special machines and spot-welded at every intersection.

  3. 03

    Hot-Dip Galvanising

    The welded panels are hot-dip galvanised; the zinc layer protects the whole surface, weld points included.

  4. 04

    Inspection and Dispatch

    Panels are checked for aperture, dimensions and coating, then palletised for dispatch.

What Is Galvanised Spot-Welded Mesh?

Galvanised spot-welded mesh is made by crossing high-strength steel wires at right angles on special machines, spot-welding every intersection and then hot-dip galvanising the panel. Unlike woven wire, its rigid structure does not bend or stretch, so the fence line stays upright and secure.

Chain-link is formed by interlocking spiralled wires; it is flexible and follows sloping ground easily. Spot-welded mesh is a rigid structure with every intersection fixed by a weld. It is therefore more dimensionally stable, the aperture does not change under load, and the line resists animal pressure better.
25×25 mm suits poultry and small animals; 50×50 mm suits pets and sheep or goats; 50×100 and 100×100 mm suit large field and industrial perimeters.
Ø1.60–2.50 mm is enough for light agricultural, poultry and garden use. Ø2.50–3.50 mm is a balanced choice for residential and medium-duty commercial projects. Ø4.00–5.00 mm gives the highest rigidity for cattle pens, industrial sites and security-led applications.
The panels are 2500 mm wide and come in heights of 1000, 1250, 1500 and 2000 mm.
Posts are set along the line to suit the panel width, and the panels are fixed to them with wire ties or clamps. Because the panels are rigid, the line stays straight and upright.
