Every horizontal and vertical wire crossing is fusion-welded on automated spot-welding lines. The result: a rigid panel that holds its shape under load, maintains consistent aperture spacing, and resists bending.

Production Process

Integrated production from raw material to quality control

  1. 01

    Wire Procurement

    Ø2.00–5.00 mm steel wires are sourced from accredited suppliers to EN 10244 standard and sorted by finish: plain, galvanised, or stainless.

  2. 02

    Coating Process

    For the galvanised variant, wires are processed by electro-galvanising or hot-dip galvanising. For the stainless variant, grade 304 or 316 wire is used.

  3. 03

    Straightening & Sizing

    Wires are prepared on CNC straightening and cutting lines to the required panel dimensions; horizontal and vertical wires are positioned at the specified aperture spacing.

  4. 04

    Spot Welding

    Every intersection is fusion-welded on automated spot-welding lines; aperture spacing and dimensional tolerances are monitored throughout.

  5. 05

    PVC Coating (optional)

    For the PVC-coated variant, the welded panel is coated with UV-resistant polymer paint; green, black, and custom RAL colour options are available.

  6. 06

    Quality Control & Packaging

    Every batch is tested for aperture tolerance, weld-point strength, and coating thickness; panels are packaged in standard or custom sizes.

What Is Welded Wire Mesh?

Welded wire mesh (welded wire mesh / spot-welded steel mesh) is a rigid panel system produced by joining galvanised or plain steel wires at every horizontal and vertical right-angle intersection by means of spot (resistance) welding. Welding every intersection gives the panel exceptional dimensional stability, high load-bearing capacity, and resistance to deformation. Applications range from construction reinforcement and security fencing to animal housing and industrial partitioning.

Our technical range covers 10 different aperture sizes, each available in multiple wire diameter combinations:

Both products are manufactured by spot welding; the key difference lies in format and wire gauge. Galvanised spot-welded wire uses thin wire (Ø1.60–3.00 mm) and comes in 25 m rolls, designed for light agricultural and residential applications. Welded wire mesh uses heavier wire (Ø2.00–5.00 mm) in rigid panel format (from 1000×2000 mm to 2000×2000 mm) and is designed for construction reinforcement, industrial partitioning, and high-load applications.
