    Steel Sourcing

    High-carbon steel wires are sourced from accredited suppliers to EN 10244 standard.

    Hot-Dip Galvanising

    Wires are immersed in a 450 °C zinc bath to provide full corrosion protection.

    Two parallel wires are fed together with millimetre precision for each horizontal row; the double wire profile is formed.

Steel is first protected by hot-dip galvanising (EN ISO 1461, 275–350 g/m² zinc). On top of this, UV-resistant polymer powder coating to EN 13438 standard is applied electrostatically. The result: a fence that does not rust, does not fade, and requires no annual maintenance.

The 2D Double Panel has a flat (uncrimped) profile, whereas the 3D panel is horizontally V-crimped. The source of the 2D panel's strength is not this crimp but the double parallel wires in every horizontal row. In the 8/6/8 combination, the outer horizontal wires are 8 mm in diameter. As a result, the 2D Double Panel is generally preferred for industrial, sports, and public projects that require a higher security standard, while the 3D panel comes to the fore in residential and medium-intensity applications.
The 8/6/8 combination (8 mm double horizontal wire, 6 mm vertical wire) offers maximum bending and cutting resistance for security-priority projects; ideal for industrial facilities, military installations, and strategic sites. The 6/5/6 combination provides adequate rigidity in a lighter structure; a balanced choice for sports facilities, schools, and medium-security projects. When in doubt, share your application and our team will recommend the optimum combination.
1500–1800 mm is recommended for residential and housing estate projects, 1800–2000 mm for school and university perimeters, 2000 mm for industrial and logistics facilities, and 2000–2500 mm for sports grounds. In areas with a high climbing risk, we add security wire or barbed wire above the 2000 mm panel. If you share the specific requirements of your project, our technical team can carry out an on-site assessment.
The wires used in Konak Tel Çit 2D Double Panel products are hot-dip galvanised and reach a zinc coating thickness of 275–350 g/m² to EN ISO 1461 standard. They can be used without rusting for 15 years in coastal and seaside salt-atmosphere conditions, and 25 years in low-humidity, low-salt inland environments. When electrostatic powder coating is added, the total service life exceeds 30 years.
The electrostatic powder coating applied in our factory contains UV-resistant polymer paint certified to EN 13438 standard. In 10-year field tests under intense sunlight and humidity, colour change remained at ΔE < 2. Our standard colour options are RAL 6005 (dark green), RAL 9005 (black), and RAL 7016 (anthracite grey); we can also produce custom RAL colours with a minimum order quantity.
The reference post spacing for our standard 2500 mm wide panels is 2500 mm. We recommend reducing the spacing to 2000 mm in high-wind coastal areas or for applications exceeding 2000 mm in height. The Konak Tel Çit engineering team can provide support for projects requiring a structural calculation.
Thanks to the dual-layer galvanised + polyester electrostatic powder coating protection, routine maintenance is reduced to virtually zero. An annual visual inspection — checking for damaged panels, loose clamps, or early signs of rust — is sufficient. At coastal facilities, an annual rinse with fresh water extends the service life significantly.
Yes, the modular system design was developed precisely for this convenience. The clamps of the damaged panel are removed and the new panel is fitted; adjacent panels and posts are unaffected. We keep the 2500 mm standard panel size permanently in stock; spare parts can be found even years later.
There is no minimum order quantity for stock products. For orders in custom colours (RAL outside the standard catalogue) or non-standard sizes, our minimum production condition is 1 pallet (approximately 180 panels). For large project quotations, a per-metre and height breakdown allows us to submit a price offer within the day.
The anticipated lead time is 3–5 working days for stock products, 7–10 working days for standard production orders, and 10–15 working days for orders requiring custom colours or dimensions. Delivery to the door is made across Turkey via our own distribution network and contracted logistics companies. For export orders, we can work on FOB İzmir, CIF, or DAP terms.
A written warranty of 10 years for galvanised coating, 5 years for electrostatic powder coating, and 2 years for structural integrity of weld joints and panel geometry is provided. The warranty is valid under conditions of use compliant with EN 10244 and EN 13438 standards.
