Low-Cost Deterrence. Galvanised Durability.

A double strand (four-point) or single strand barb layout stops unauthorised crossing. Galvanising with 100/275 g/m² zinc gives long service in the open air. With the metric and conventional types you can strike the right balance between security level and budget.

  • Metric (Ø1.70) and conventional (Ø2.50) types
  • Galvanised steel: 100/275 g/m² zinc
  • Applied on concrete walls, panel fencing and wire mesh
  • Layered security together with razor wire
Production Process

Integrated production from raw material to quality control

  1. 01

    Wire Supply

Line wire and barb wire are supplied as galvanised steel wire in the 100/275 g/m² zinc coating class.

  2. 02

    Zinc Coating Check

The zinc coating weight is verified at goods-in, and coating integrity is inspected for corrosion resistance.

  3. 03

    Barb Twisting

Sharp barbs are added to the line wire at set intervals on an automatic twisting line, in a double strand (four-point) or single strand arrangement.

  4. 04

    Quality Control

Barb spacing, wire diameter, zinc coating and twist strength are inspected.

  5. 05

    Coiling and Packing

The wire is wound into rolls, labelled and prepared for dispatch.

Use Cases

Engineered solutions for every sector

  • On Concrete Walls

Mounted along the top of a concrete garden wall, it adds a deterrent against climbing.

  • Land and Garden Perimeter

Strung on a free-standing post line, it gives land and garden boundaries economical perimeter security.

  • Fence Reinforcement

Added along the top of panel fencing and wire mesh, it strengthens the line against intrusion.

  • Corporate and Industrial

Used as a basic security barrier along the boundaries of factories, warehouses and industrial zone sites.

Detailed Description

What is Barbed Wire?

Barbed wire is one of the most common and economical deterrent solutions in environmental security, consisting of sharp barbs wrapped around the body wire at regular intervals. It prevents unauthorized passage with its double row (4 barbed) or single row barbed structure; It can be mounted on a concrete garden wall, panel fence and wire mesh or on an independent pole line.

Type and Technical Specifications

  • Metric Type: Body wire Ø1.70 mm · Barb wire Ø1.50 mm; for economical, lightweight applications
  • Conventional Type: Body wire Ø2.50 mm · Barb wire Ø2.00 mm, higher strength
  • Material: Galvanized steel wire
  • Zinc Coating: 100 / 275 gr/m², long-term outdoor resistance

Galvanized Zinc Protection

Galvanized (zinc) coating significantly increases the wire's resistance to outdoor conditions and corrosion. 100/275 gr/m² zinc coating class delays rust formation and extends service life in long-term outdoor use. High coating weight is preferred in harsh environments such as seaside and humid climates.

Barbed Wire or Razor Wire?

Barbed wire provides economical basic deterrence and offers cost advantages in wide perimeter lines. Razor wire creates a stronger physical barrier at critical points where higher security is required. The two products can also be used together to step up the security level.

Usage Areas

Land and garden environmental security, corporate facility and factory boundaries, additional security on concrete walls, panel fence and wire mesh reinforcement, agricultural area and animal shelter surroundings. A complete security line is installed with pole, tension wire and mounting accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions

6 questions · technical, installation and ordering details

The conventional type uses a thicker line wire (Ø2.50 mm) and offers higher strength over longer spans; the metric type (Ø1.70 mm) is lighter and cheaper. The choice follows the security level, the span and the budget.
It is the zinc coating weight, the amount of zinc per square metre. A higher weight (275 g/m²) lasts longer against corrosion and is the usual choice in humid and coastal climates.
Barbed wire gives a basic deterrent at low cost and pays off along long perimeters. At critical points that need high security, razor wire forms a stronger barrier. The two can also be combined.
It can go on top of a concrete wall, along the top of panel fencing and wire mesh, or on a free-standing post line. With tensioning wire and post accessories it makes up a complete run.
The double strand carries barbs more closely spaced and deters more strongly; the single strand costs less. The choice follows the level of security required.
