3D PANEL FENCE WEIGHT PER M²
V-pressed 3D panels weigh 3–8% more than flat 2D panels because of the bends. Enter the vertical and horizontal wire diameters, mesh openings and bend depth + pitch; kg/m², panel mass and total tonnage come out instantly.

p: bend pitch (mm). h: bend depth (mm). k: factor by which a single bend stretches the vertical wire, typically 1.03–1.08. ρ_v: vertical-wire kg/m² contribution as in flat 2D, ρ_h: horizontal-wire contribution. Only verticals get k; horizontals stay flat. Larger depth or smaller pitch raises k.

Production tolerance
When the bends are pressed, vertical wire length deviates by ±1.5 mm and bend depth by ±1 mm. Apply ±3% tolerance to per-m² mass. For large orders, the factory weighbridge ticket rules.
Surface coating
Standard 3D panel: electro-galvanised + polyester powder coating (RAL 6005 green, 7016 anthracite, 9005 black). Coating adds ~0.15–0.25 kg/m². For corrosive sites use heavy galvanised (80 μm) + powder topcoat as a duplex system.
