Hot-dip galvanised steel wire forms the basic barrier against corrosion, and the PVC coating over it adds further protection and RAL colour. With apertures from 30 to 70 mm and wire diameters of Ø3 to 4.80 mm it fits every project, from a garden to an industrial site.

Production Process

Integrated production from raw material to quality control

  1. 01

    Galvanised Wire Supply

    Hot-dip galvanised steel wire is supplied in diameters of Ø3 to 4.80 mm and in the appropriate zinc class.

  2. 02

    Weaving

    On automatic weaving lines the wire is formed into chain link mesh at the required aperture, from 30 to 70 mm.

  3. 03

    PVC Coating

    A PVC coating is applied over the galvanised wire, adding corrosion protection and a choice of RAL colour.

  4. 04

    Quality Control

    Aperture, wire diameter, coating integrity and evenness of the weave are inspected.

  5. 05

    Coiling and Packing

    The mesh is wound into rolls of up to 20 m, labelled and prepared for dispatch.

What is PVC Coated Mesh Wire?

PVC coated cage wire (fencing wire) is a flexible, light and durable perimeter fence solution produced by braiding hot-dip galvanized steel wires and coated with PVC. PVC coating applied on the galvanized substrate provides additional corrosion protection and creates a colorful, aesthetic surface. With its wide eye range and height range, it adapts to many projects from the garden to the industrial field.

Galvanized + PVC Double Protection

While hot-dip galvanized coating protects the steel against corrosion, the PVC layer applied on it provides additional barrier and color options. This double-layer structure extends the outdoor life of the wire and maintains color stability. Standard colors are RAL 6005 Green, RAL 7016 Anthracite and RAL 9005 Black; Special RAL application is also possible.

How to Choose Eye Span?

Small eye opening (30–40 mm) provides higher safety and climbing resistance; It prevents the passage of small objects. Large mesh size (60–70 mm) is more economical and lightweight, and is preferred for surrounding large areas. As the wire diameter increases (towards Ø4.80 mm), the strength and durability of the fence increases.

Galvanised is the most economical option. PVC coated adds a protective layer over the hot-dip galvanising and gives a coloured finish, which is why it is preferred on residential, sports and decorative projects.
A small aperture (30 to 40 mm) raises security and makes climbing harder; a large aperture (60 to 70 mm) is lighter and cheaper. The choice follows the intended use and the level of security needed.
As the diameter goes up, from Ø3 to Ø4.80 mm, the fence gains strength and takes more impact and load. Thicker wire is the choice where high security and long service life matter.
Heights from 800 mm up to 6000 mm can be produced. On tall runs, intermediate tensioning and a suitable post spacing are recommended.
